Landscape by Tamás Waliczky is a short film that explores the inherent abstract nature of digital space. This is done by freezing time during a rain storm in a small deserted village. When time is stopped, the camera slowly pans around rooms and street scenes. For me it also brings to light the idea of ‘Space between time’. I suppose the Matrix films and animations (I haven’t seen the last two though) is some what exploring this idea, in that between the general perception of reality and time lies a different world.

Landscape is a beautiful and highly engaging piece of work shot in grainy black and white, which utilises Soft Image 3D to create the rain.

Regarding time, have you heard of Julian Barbour's theory for the non-existence of time?
