My study of the ephemeral within communication design is centred around the transient state and the individuals engagement with space, time and artefacts. By researching the process of perception in our understanding of events and ideas and applying these principles to the development of systems for interaction and engagement, I am exploring the position and roles of designers, participants, collaborators and viewers and how each person can read, add to and take ownership of the concepts or experiences being explored.
