I am now viewing this blog as a real time project as its being designed, curated, read, used, interacted with as its being made. My key concerns in this the first stage of the site have been its structure. The structure is the formal structure of the site, its defined organised, catergorised etc. I can see some floors in the site as it stands—it can be a little confusing on the eye. But as a starting point it has a good expansive structure.

Currently the site has enough content that makes it a useable space where I can explore and define its key characteristics, including its design, structure, text and curation. These characteristics will open up, and add hidden or subtle pathways that will hopefully transform it into a multidimensional space, that offers considered and complex pathways generating multiple readings of the overall text.

There is definatly something here about context and seeing things in context. In making a very basic diagram for this post on No Space I first placed the basic diagram into the page, this then gave me a view of the diagram in context with the other elements of the page. By viewing the diagram in such a way I was able to find its voice, as it had something different to say, even though the images in the diagram where duplicates of the images in the page.

Quick note to self, Neal’s questioning as to the application of form and the considerations surronding decoration.
